Alabama RTAP Training Roadeo

Celebrating Alabama's Best in Transit — Through Training and Teamwork.

March 13 - 14, 2026 | LakePoint State Park, Eufaula, AL

It’s More Than A Roadeo. It’s A Training Event.

The Alabama RTAP Training Roadeo is a competitive training event that brings together top transit professionals from Alabama’s rural and urban transit agencies. Participants have the opportunity to sharpen their skills through a written knowledge test, vehicle inspection, wheelchair securement testing, and a driving obstacle course. While the focus is on professional development and hands-on training, the Roadeo also recognizes outstanding performance with top honors — and offers a chance to build valuable connections with transit peers across the state.
